Blue Monday :: Monday Morning Blues

Monday Morning Blues

Monday Morning Blues
Mississippi John Hurt

It was either this or a New Order cover of Bizarre Love Triangle by Frente, but I wasn’t sure if that would qualify. If you wanna hear that one, it’s in my audio feed

Weekly Last.fm Charts

I think I’m getting the hang of this now. Thanks Dave! I’ve got iscrobbler working as well, which is a big relief. The official last.fm client sucks for iPod scrobbling.

mp3eme VOX: Suck and Blow

POST A TRACK FROM YOUR LIBRARY THAT USES/REFERENCES THE HARMONICA

This is so the obvious choice for this week’s mp3eme. It brings shivers to my spine does this one. Wonderful stuff.Man With The Harmonica

Ennio Morricone

A Whiter Shade of Pale : : White Lines

A wee blast from the past. Don’t do it!

Kate Bush
My first post to the Calliope group. I just skimmed the FAQs so I hope I’ve got the procedure correct. Let me know if not; I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it.Is it okay to use the same theme as the previous post, as I have done with this one, or should there be more obscure links?

I LOVE this Kate Bush album. It utterly blew me away on first listen and it keeps on going.

mp3eme VOX: Power Cycle

POST A TRACK THAT DEALS WITH OR REFERENCES ELECTRICITY
…whether it be man-made, nature-made? or anything that uses or needs juice!

____________________________________________________________________________________________________

Here’s my first entry for the week. An obvious choice, given that I’m now going through U2’s albums chronologically until I get to know them all. I’m having a blast doing it as well. Under a Blood Red Sky is a great live album to finish off their early period.

mp3eme VOX: Digital Display

Post  a song that references a number(s)
in any way/shape/form

—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

I tried to post this for the one-hit-wonder mp3eme but it wouldn’t upload. Tried again and it worked. Cool. It fits in this one equally as well.

Enjoy.
