Over here in Lux they celebrate St Nicholas day on 6 December. Freya actually got to meet him in the forest; he was waiting for them all at the green tent. She came home with a bag full of sweeties, nuts and tangerines, and a lovely big foil-wrapped chocolate Santa. Hamish looks on enviously and wonders what it’s all about, but Freya’s not telling – she’s too busy getting stuck in.
