From translator to postman

Lorraine has had enough of working into the night, losing weekends and the feast-or-famine aspect of translating. So when a job was advertised as a postman, it seemed quite appealing. So she applied, and got the job! I think it’ll do her the world of good. She’ll be outdoors every day, she’ll be working with others, meeting people and finish around four. Not saying it’s all going to be easy or anything like it, but it’s a steady job and, amongst other things, that should stand us in good stead if we ever get around to looking to buy property before we’re too old.

She starts on Monday 19 Jan. Good luck, Pumpkin!
