What’s that secret dream job you’ve always believed you’d be good at, but never gone for?

Computer programmer. As a kid, I spent many hours typing out code from magazines into my Commodore Vic 20 and then Spectrum 48. I’m good at languages (I’m a translator by profession) and am unsociable. I design my own websites and spend much of my freetime listening to tech podcasts. I am most certainly a geek. The Army discovered my aptitude for languages when I joined at 16 and, before I could say do svidania, they had me learning Russian and my career path was mapped out.

Hopefully though I’m about to become a subpostmaster. 😉
